The farmhouse Colognole is located in that Chianti area near Florence called Chianti Rufina DOCG (where the homonimous wine is produced), just a few kilomters from the little town of Rufina which offers all main services and daily train connections to Florence and the main destinations of Tuscany.

The farmhouse Colognole, which originally was a winery, has been recently restored but still preserves the winery characteristics for offering a unique and relaxing stay in the marvellous Tuscan countryside in your charming room, with the added benefit of an on-site restaurant, wine tastings and outdoor pool.

The farmhouse has been realized restoring the ancient estate once used for the production of wine, but still preserves some of the original locals, today used as wine cellars and wine tasting rooms. All those guests interested in visiting those places rich in history and traditions may take part in the guided visits organized by the staff or, even better, in the wine-and-food tasting events, for appreciating those peculiar products that make this area unique in the world. And if you're looking for a really exclusive experience, which is more than a simple tasting, there're the guided tours to the vineyards, during which you may learn something about the surrounding landscape and catch some words of wisdom about wine!

Tasting menus

Besides offering guided tours to the vineyards, Colognole also proposes a wide selection of tasting menus to satisfy even the most expensive tastes! The slogan could be "Not only wine": local products prepared according to Tuscan recipes with great red and white wines are at the center of these experiences.
